Did this actually happen ... or was it just a dream???

Two years ago today I went to France.   The next 5 week flew by in flurry of activity that including a long train ride to Chamonix, unbelievable walks in the most majestic mountains, a bus ride to Geneva, followed by 4 exhausting days following the Tour de France which including watching a time trial, riding the last stretch of the route into Ardeche, photos on the podium, witnessing insane feats of endurance on Mont Ventoux, a high-speed train ride to Paris, Grand Stand seating to watch the end of the tour, a dinner boat cruise on the Seine followed by a blur of comings and goings in Paris, a train trip to London that included a hookah and a palace or two and an urchin called Cossette.  Then back to Paris to connect to the Dordogne region, hours and hours of blissful cycling and walking and exploring chateaus, more train trips, a quiet resort in Richlieu, Indre-et-Loire followed by yet another trip to Paris. Then Lyon to meet the Canadian team, then Valence for the World Jr Climbing Championships, then a side trip to Montelimar, the nougat capital of the world no less.  I do believe there was a drive to Lyon followed by one more train trip to Paris, one last evening at the Champ de Mars and then home.

But I'm not sure, it may all have just been a dream.
